With advancements in technology and communication aids such as email and texting, some of the fundamental skills of communication are deteriorating. It has been argued by many people that this is especially true with millennials and the younger generation, but it cuts across virtually all generations. The ability to communicate effectively, connect with people and build rapport are crucial to having strong relationships, and they are vital skills within the context of investigative interviews and criminal interrogations. This full day training program will help to develop social and emotional skills of the students which will improve their effectiveness during investigative interviews and criminal interrogation, and in general, improve their awareness and acuity in dealing with other people as well.
