Course Description:
Cognitive Interviewing is a powerful interviewing technique used to extract significantly more accurate information from victims and witnesses. Used by investigators within the United States as well as numerous countries throughout the world, this highly effective research based technique of investigative interviewing has proven to enhance the memory of the individuals being interviewed and effectively increase accurate recall of information. Through guided memory retrieval techniques, the investigator will enhance their ability to develop rapport with people and extract more accurate and reliable information from victims and witnesses than traditional methods. As with all of our training, you will receive FREE membership into the Interview and Interrogation Group, an online international network of professionals dedicated to the research and application of effective and ethical techniques within the field of investigative interviewing and criminal interrogations.
